City of Vancouver: Viaducts: Past, Present & Future Event

City of Vancouver – Viaducts: Past, Present and Future – Event Recap Video from The Beacon Collective on Vimeo.

In considering whether or not to move ahead with replacing the viaducts, Vancouver City Council staged an event at Science World at Telus World of Science to provide the public with information about Vancouver’s Viaducts past, present, and future.

Point A: The city of Vancouver was seeking to promote public awareness of the history of a major downtown viaduct as part of their ongoing consultation and planning process to redevelop the downtown core.

Point B: To meet the city’s extremely short timeline, we provided a rapid, two-week response which required:

  • team management
  • site map creation
  • scheduling and event management
  • asset sourcing
  • event décor
  • hiring and management of catering and additional staff
  • rush job with a two week window
