Representing more than 600,000 constituents, the City of Vancouver administers a vast array of services and operations, with the mission to “create a great city of communities that cares about our people, our environment, and our opportunities to live, work, and prosper.”
Active transportation includes walking, rolling and cycling. To promote it, we used the COV’s brand palette as a jumping off point and introduced a pink to represent the Active Transportation brand. We also created banners and flags for an engagement event, plus a series of brochures promoting safety in active transportation, and a series of custom-illustrated animated GIFs encouraging safety when using active transportation methods in the rain or at night.
