Representing more than 600,000 constituents, the City of Vancouver administers a vast array of services and operations, with the mission to “create a great city of communities that cares about our people, our environment, and our opportunities to live, work, and prosper.”
The City of Vancouver hosted a family day event for the families of the city engineers and public works professionals and extended the invitation to the public. We created all the promotional and on-site graphic assets. We had created custom illustrations of the different types of public works vehicles (e.g. bulldozer, waste collection vehicle, sweeper, etc.) which were then turned into trading cards for kids to collect. The event heavily featured these illustrated vehicles on the promotional materials, signage, event passports, a photo stand-in, and tri-pillars about the different jobs that people do at the City. We even created a custom-illustrated event map, with an illustration style that complemented that of the vehicles.
