Representing more than 600,000 constituents, the City of Vancouver administers a vast array of services and operations, with the mission to “create a great city of communities that cares about our people, our environment, and our opportunities to live, work, and prosper.”
The City of Vancouver requested our support in branding this satellite event at the Vancouver Public Library. After reviewing the brief, we realized there was a need for parallel brands for other women’s equity initiatives including Women4Politics and the Women’s Equity Strategy. We took a single design element (a tri-coloured line) and evolved it into a modern and comprehensive visual language that could be used across all assets. In six weeks, we created over a hundred assets in this visual language, including logos, posters, social graphics, photo backdrops, pins, event schedules, infographics, tri-pillars, name tags, signage, and more.
