The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is the federal agency responsible for the stewardship of the lands and waters that make up the Port of Vancouver, Canada’s largest port. We have worked with the port to create a wide range of public-facing and internal assets.
A typical construction project for the Gateway Projects (nine large construction projects across the Lower Mainland) has three phases of public engagement: listen and learn, draft design, and final design. Each phase of engagement has the following stages: promotional work to let the public know about opportunities to partake in the engagement; on-site assets such as discussion boards, PowerPoint presentations, signage, discussions guides, etc.; and summary reports wherein the findings from the engagement are outlined in PDF and PowerPoint format. We may also be asked to create custom maps and renderings, and capture drone photography. We are the agency responsible for the design and copyediting of all the assets in all the engagement phases for the Gateway Projects.
