The Vancouver Fraser Port Authority is the federal agency responsible for the stewardship of the lands and waters that make up the Port of Vancouver, Canada’s largest port. We have worked with the port to create a wide range of public-facing and internal assets.
For many of the engagements we work on for the port, we are also hired to create renderings depicting what the future state of the site could look like. For bird’s eye view renderings, we start with an engineer drawing and heavily reference Google Street View and Satellite View to determine existing flora and infrastructure, and alter it from there. For the street view renderings, we started with a pencil sketch and then sourced images that could be collaged into place to create a semi-realistic looking rendering.
