We are passionate about habitat restoration, so we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects. Together, we reforest areas that have been deforested by human activity, and lift people out of extreme poverty.
Eden Reforestation Projects works alongside local communities to achieve successful and longstanding reforestation. Because they use an “Employ to Plant” methodology, impoverished villagers can begin to afford daily necessities such as food, shelter, clothing, and medicine.
Aside from job creation, reforestation:
- Creates valuable habitat for species at risk of extinction
- Combats climate change
- Cleans the air
- Raises water tables in the area
How is The Beacon Design Collective Inc. working with Eden Reforestation Projects?
We are donating enough money to plant a tree for every $2 that appears on an invoice. That means that an invoice totalling $1,000 results in 500 trees planted and stewarded! Our clients will find that each invoice indicates how many new trees resulted from their purchase. Then, at the end of the year, each client receives a thank you card outlining the total number of trees we planted together that year.
