Kinship Heals

Client: The Northeast Native Network of Kinship and Healing

The Northeast Native Network of Kinship and Healing, formed and operated by women of the Wampanoag nation in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, is working to end domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and sex trafficking in Indigenous communities. The Network uses stories, values, and work of Wampanoag ancestors, along with Wampanoag and Indigenous culture, as a framework to build programs and services to create lasting safety and health in Indigenous communities. 

Through an honest and open partnership with the Network executive director and others, we ensured that the historical, cultural, and personal stories and knowledge of the Wampanoag Nation were respectfully and accurately embodied in the website and content.
