FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Beacon Design Collective’s Mini-Forest Initiative.

If you know Beacon, you know we love the environment and we love trees! From planting trees around the world to supporting clients who protect and regenerate forested areas, we’re committed to environmental action for planetary health.

So we couldn’t be more pleased to announce our latest initiative (drum roll, please): in partnership with Little Forests Kingston, we’ll be helping to bring new life to urban spaces by creating mini-forests in Kingston, Ontario. And this project isn’t just about planting trees—it’s also about fostering biodiversity, enhancing community well-being, and setting an example of sustainable living. To us, that looks like a win-win-win-win!

Let’s take a closer look at where we’re creating and expanding three transformative mini-forest sites:

Our commitment and impact

The Beacon Design Collective Inc. is proud to sponsor these mini-forest projects, with our support helping to coordinate the efforts of Little Forests Kingston, ensuring that each tree planted contributes to a healthier, more vibrant community. By 2025, a total of 2,200 trees will have been planted across these sites, fostering urban biodiversity and creating green spaces for generations to come.

As we move forward with these projects, we remain committed to our mission of creating and supporting organizations that benefit the environment and our communities.
